About me

I’ve been drawing doodles for as long as I can remember… and one day I spontaneously started colouring them in with a few coloured pencils. Suddenly, they actually looked pretty interesting.

A friend encouraged me to take it further, so I began redrawing them in Illustrator and playing around with colours and shapes. That became the starting point for the drawings I make today.

I still have lots of unfinished pieces, so it has become my creative breathing space. Some motifs reveal themselves right away, others take time – and sometimes they turn into something completely different from what I expected… or into nothing at all.

Others might not see the same things in my drawings that I do, but maybe you’ll see something else entirely. That’s what I find fascinating — the way the images can change when you look at them more closely.
At least that´s what I think and I hope that everyone can get something out of the pictures.
